
The main floor of the clubhouse features a common room which sports rich wooden floors and walls, hefty wooden main support beams overhead, a stone fireplace, a large bow window overlooking the lake, french doors leading to a screened porch off of the front of the clubhouse and comfortable furniture for your relaxation.
The main entrance room features the same rich, wood floors, ceilings and walls as well as crafted lockers for members personal belongings. The room also has a large, round table and chairs for socializing and an entrance table used for hors d’ oeuvres and beverages for your enjoyment.
The game room features the same wood appearance and contains a very old slate top pool table, electronic dart board and a rack for storage of guns and hunting gear. A half bath is also located off this room.
The dining room has a carpeted floor and acoustic ceiling seating 50 people comfortably at large, cloth covered tables. Meals are served both family style and buffet style depending on the size of the gathering. Meal times are traditionally 8:15 am., 1:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. While enjoying your meal, you have a 180 degree view of the rear of the property and the wildlife so often present at the corn crib.
Meals at Beaver Run are skillfully prepared by our stewards. The menu features salads, main entrée’s of fresh carved beef, poultry, veal and pork, homemade stews, soups and sautéed dishes, fresh vegetable sides, rolls and biscuits, desserts and baked goods guaranteed to please the most discriminating palates. Special meals can be prepared for those of you needing to adhere to restricted diets for health reasons. A bell will be rung one half hour prior to each meal time followed by a second bell announcing the meal.
The upper level of the clubhouse features men’s and ladies rooms, each complete with vanities, showers and toilets. In addition, there are 14 bedrooms, each sleeping from 2 to 5 people.
The club also features a fish house with running water, a Quaker shed, work shop, garage and the original ice house. Two small cabins which can sleep an additional five people sit to the rear of the clubhouse.
- All bedding, linens and towels are furnished.
- You are responsible for your own toiletries.
- Shower and hand soaps are provided.
- Three meals a day will be served. You may bring your own beverages and snack foods for personal enjoyment.
